The Department of Economics at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business invites applications in Microeconomic Theory for a 100% (40 hours/week) non-tenure track Assistant Professor position (post-doc, employee subject to the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for University Staff - Angestellte/r gemäß Kollektivvertrag für die Arbeitnehmer/innen der Universitäten). The position will be limited to a period of six years and is expected to begin on September 1, 2023. The gross monthly salary, paid 14 times per year €4.061,50 subject to adjustment if candidates can document relevant prior professional experience.
The Department of Economics offers an active and internationally oriented research environment. The successful candidates’ research focus should be on Microeconomic Theory. You will join the faculty of the Department of Economics and are expected to provide a good fit to its current research environment, as well as to cultivate excellence and contribute to the research, teaching, and service activities in the department.
