The Nottingham School of Economics is a top research and teaching institution with an international reputation for excellence across all areas of the discipline. We are pleased to share that we have a number of Associate Professorship positions available from 1 September 2023.

Applications from candidates with research interests in any area of economics are encouraged to apply. We expect applicants to have an established research reputation, an excellent publications record, an ability to attract external research funding, a commitment to high quality teaching, leadership skills relating to both teaching and research, and a collegial mind-set to work with the School and the wider University. These positions will be offered on permanent contracts.

You are expected to have a PhD in Economics by the time of appointment.

Salaries will be commensurate with those offered by comparable Schools.
