Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Economics

Grade 7: £34308 - £42155 p.a.

Department of Economics, Manor Road Building, Oxford

Full time, fixed term for 3 years

Applicants are invited to apply for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Economics.

The post-holder will have responsibility for carrying out research as part of the ERC research project “FEMPOWER: Inefficient Decision Making & Female Bargaining Power”. The main research focus of the post concerns bargaining at divorce. This research will involve collaboration with Prof Abi Adams-Prassl (University of Oxford), Prof Hamish Low (University of Oxford), Prof Thomas Jorgensen (University of Copenhagen), and Prof Alessandra Voena (Stanford University). The post-holder will also have the ability to manage their own research tasks and work with some independence on assigned work.

The post-holder will hold, or be close to completion of, a PhD in a relevant discipline together with relevant research experience in empirical microeconomics.

This is a three-year, fixed-term contract (externally-funded) post that can commence from Autumn 2023. The post will be full time for the duration of the three years.
