The Department of Economics at the University of Manchester invites applications for at least two junior positions at the level of Lecturer (equivalent to tenure track Assistant Professor).

The Department of Economics is seeking candidates with backgrounds in any field of Economics/Econometrics. Candidates with a background in Econometrics are particularly encouraged to apply. The appointment is expected to begin on the 1st of September 2023. Successful applicants must have a Ph.D. in Economics or a related field by the beginning of employment on 1st September 2023 and are expected to be committed to research and teaching of the highest quality. In addition to publishing in leading international journals, successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses.
