TU Wien's Economics Research Unit invites applications for an Assistant Professor non-tenure track (“Universitätsassistent”) in Macroeconomics for 6 years, 100%, to start no later than October 1, 2023. The position provides an outstanding opportunity for independent research as well as opportunities for collaboration with colleagues. The research environment is international and excellent, see econ.tuwien.ac.at.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate is expected to publish in top academic journals, contribute to joint research activities of the unit, and, participate in the teaching and supervision activities of the unit, but will have sufficient time to pursue her own research agenda.

Qualifications: For all candidates, solid research potential and achievements in Macroeconomics are essential. The successful candidate must hold a PhD in Economics or a related field at the time of employment, have high-quality research output (job market paper(s) and/or publications in international peer-reviewed journals) related to the field of Macroeconomics, be engaged in international research collaborations and show excellent command of English, very good communication skills and team competences.
