The Wilson Center for Science and Justice at the Duke University School of Law is seeking a full-time Predoctoral Associate in Research (AIR) who will work with Professor Ben Grunwald and other staff members to conduct quantitative empirical research on the law enforcement labor market, use of force, racial disparities, private policing, and policing rhetoric on social media. The AIR will collect, build, clean, and manage data sets, construct and test econometric models, conduct complex data analysis, write and edit research documentation, discover and obtain new data sources, help with the design of experimental and survey studies, and perform other duties necessary to the social science research enterprise.
Much of the research will be conducted in collaboration with Professor John Rappaport of University of Chicago School of Law.
