The Department of Finance, Masaryk University in Brno, Czechia invites applications for a tenure track position as Assistant Professor of Finance or Accounting. We seek candidates with a strong research potential in Finance or Accounting who must demonstrate the ability to publish in leading international journals. The duration of the initial contract is 3 years with possible extension and tenure-track. Applicants should have completed their PhD in Finance or a related area prior to starting.
What does the position entail?
· publishing research in top-tier academic journals in the field of Finance or Accounting,
- contribution to the research and teaching activities at the department,
- participation and supervision of externally funded research projects (Czech Science Foundation, Technological Agency of the Czech Republic, etc.),

teaching of bachelor and master courses in the Finance program with a workload of up to 6 teaching hours per week,
What do we require?
PhD in the field of Finance or related field,
- your previous research activities should demonstrate the publication potential in leading scientific journals,
- ability to teach and communicate in the English language (knowledge of Czech language is not required),
- the earliest starting date is September 1, 2023, later date can be negotiated
