The University of Virginia's Department of Economics of the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences invites applications for multiple tenure-track positions at the untenured (Assistant Professor) level. We will consider candidates in any microeconomics field but are particularly interested in candidates with specialties in experimental economics, econometrics, or theory. We will consider candidates with post-doctoral experience, such as assistant professors or post-doc researchers, as well as candidates who anticipate receiving their PhD in 2024.

We seek candidates dedicated to our mission and passionate about teaching in a world-class institution. The Department aims to recruit faculty dedicated to building and extending a top-tier research portfolio, including developing external funding to support research endeavors. We value ambitious scholars eager to work together and build on the intellectually vibrant community for economists at the University.
