The Yale School of Management (SOM) seeks applicants for a tenured faculty position as Professor of Economics. Applicants in all areas of Economics will be considered.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Economics or a directly related field. The selected candidate must have demonstrated intellectual leadership, placing them among the very top candidates nationally or internationally in their chosen area of study. The candidate hired for this position will be expected to continue conducting and publishing their high-quality research, and to teach and advise students effectively in SOM’s PhD, master’s, and executive education programs.

Appointment terms

This is a full-time, tenured faculty position located at the Yale School of Management in New Haven, Connecticut. Appointments will be made for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, beginning July 1, 2024.
