The CERDI (https://cerdi.uca.fr/english-version) and the Ecole d’Economie of the Université Clermont-Auvergne (https://economie.uca.fr/) are opening a tenured assistant professor position in development economics. The CERDI is a joint research center of UCA, CNRS, and IRD, located in Clermont-Ferrand, France.
The position offers the following features:
· Tenured.
· Teaching load of 128 hours per academic year.
· Starting date September 2024.
In order to be eligible for this position, candidates must either (i) have a national habilitation to apply to assistant professor (tenured) positions in economics in French universities; this habilitation can be requested until November 10, 2023 (see https://www.galaxie.enseignementsup-recherche.gouv.fr/ensup/cand_qualification_droit_commun.htm), or (ii) hold an assistant professor position.
The recruitment process will consist of two steps:
· Official application through the French governmental portal Galaxie in March 2024.
· Interviews of short-listed candidates with a selection committee between April and May 2024.
