Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE) is seeking to recruit a Professor in Economics under the Junior Chair Programme (Chaire de Professeur Junior). This programme includes substantial research funding and a 50% reduction in teaching load for the first three years (64 hours per year instead of 128). The working languages at AMSE are English and French. The ability to teach in French is required from the fourth academic year. The starting gross monthly salary is €4,061. The salary will evolve according to the procedures and scale for university professors (currently, the maximum gross monthly salary is approximately €6,500).
AMSE is located in Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, with offices, seminar rooms, and classrooms in both cities. Commuting time between the two sites of the department is about 30 minutes. The School offers a dynamic, high-quality research environment and is equipped with long-term research funding.
