NHH Norwegian School of Economics invites candidates to apply for faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level in the Department of Finance. All fields within finance will be considered.
Applicants for a position as Assistant Professor should have obtained or be close to completing a PhD in finance or a related discipline and should show strong research potential. For senior positions, a strong publication track record is expected.
About the Organization
NHH is a leading European business school located in Bergen with a strong research tradition. It is the top school for business students in Norway and has a unique relationship with the Norwegian business and financial community. The school has about 170 full-time faculty members and 3,500 students. The finance department has 18 full-time faculty members, of which two-thirds are international. In addition, the department has 11 international adjunct faculty. The group is strongly dedicated to research, publishes regularly in the top journals, and has a high quality research seminar series. The department offers courses at the master and PhD levels, as well as executive courses, all taught in English. The teaching load is very competitive.
