CEMFI is inviting applications for a one-year Postdoctoral Research position. The position is funded by a Grant from Spain’s Agencia Estatal de Investigación (PID2020-120596GB-I00), whose PIs are Professors Diego Puga and Monica Martinez-Bravo.
We welcome applications by candidates with research interests in Urban Economics. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Economics or related fields by the time of appointment. Prior experience with projects in Geographic Data Science, particularly involving large network and mobility datasets derived from cell phones, would be particularly valuable.
The successful candidate will be expected to participate as a researcher in the project funded by the grant, to contribute to the research environment at CEMFI, as well as to further their own research agenda.
